SHORYU
Japanese Traditional Craftsman (Master of kyusu craftman)
Born 1945 in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture
SHORYU is famous as the only craftman in Japan who can design "TENMOKU PATTERN" for teapots.
TENMOKU pattern is often found in other pottery such as matcha bowls, he has spent many years developing a original TENMOKU pattern that suits teapots.
Also, Shoryu teapots are very light and have a distinctive design and coloring.
His all works (teapots) give us for entertain our eyes and sence.
